No these aren't paid professional models pretending to make cool stuff, these are actual behind the scenes photographs of some of the mega talented Weta Workshop crew hard at work on props for Elysium.
I feel privileged to have been a small part of the team that brought such well built and fantastically functioning elements to life. Seeing these things take shape in the Workshop is truly awesome and never gets old. Massive props to the crew for making our designery scribbles become real and look amazing! It's an honour!

Greg Broadmore and I were fortunate enough to collaborate with JJ and his team, and produce some new designs for the short. Here's some of my work:
the original Keloid robot, and a human soldier with exo-skeletal gear and armour.
